Miami-Visually Speaking Author Event at Books and Books-Coral Gables

This is one of our favorite coffee table books.
The most beautifully captured photos of Miami!
It's a shame we won't be able to attend this event... #CanesvsGators Game!!!
If you can't attend..you should still purchase this book anyways, it's absolutely gorgeous, and worth the price!

Miami - Visually Speaking by Kiko Ricote is a lavish coffee table book contains over 200 pages of full-color photographs that convey the visual richness of Miami, and its tropical urban surroundings. "This book is my love letter to Miami," says Venezuelan-born photographer Kiko Ricote. Text is nonexistent in this wittily-organized collection of photographs: from breathtaking landscapes, fascinating aerial views, urban details, miles of beaches and colorful skies the city is famous for, this artful book perfectly captures the true experience of this tropical paradise. "My goal with the book is to show that this beautiful city is worthy of admiration from all," says Kiko, who previously published the bestseller coffee table book, Key Biscayne - Island Paradise.

When a Swiss agency hired him to photograph emerging models, his second career was born. For 20 years, he worked as both model and photographer, spending time in Amsterdam, Zurich, Munich, Sydney, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. Finally, in 1995, he made Miami his home. He lives in Key Biscayne with his wife and three daughters.
